Cajun Fried Cabbage and Sausage

Ingredients

  • ½ stick butter
  • head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 lb andouille sausage, sliced into ½ rounds
  • 1 can Rotel
  • salt to taste
  • Creole Seasoning to taste

Instructions

Melt butter in dutch oven over medium high heat. Sauté onions until soft and just starting to brown.

Add cabbage and sauté for a few minutes.

Add rest of ingredients. Cover and reduce heat to medium low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is done.

Taste and add additional salt if necessary.
