First, some primer. Here is the first coat.

For the ceiling and the upper portion of the walls, I chose Ralph Lauren's Suede paint. The color is Plaza Blanca. In this color, it has a slightly textured faux finish and looks great. Here are a photo, but it doesn't do justice to the depth of the faux effect. In other words, blame me and my camera not Ralph.
