I finally got around to using Google Custom Search so that the search results would be on my site and not Google. It works OK, though the ads are obnoxious. Of course, the ads were present when I just redirected to Google. Plus one of the templates doesn't do the search results well.

I've decided that since I'm using CSS, I should make it easy to select the appearance of the site. The CSS and scripting part wasn't so bad. But updating all the pages to make this happen everywhere is a bit of a pain. Plus, I figured that as long as I'm at it, I may as well add a few CSS elements to the pages that should have been there all along.
